Greg Stuart’s paintings on paper and canvas comprise an evolving body of work that assimilates the sub-tropical hues of Florida with a compositional structure inspired by the Cascade mountains surrounding his Washington State studio.

Landscape environments serve both the point of departure and foundation for Greg’s abstracts, representational and surf art paintings.  A contemporary, painterly approach that integrates graphic elements into bright color fields defines his language and characterizes his work.
